California Manufacturing : Growth and Profitability Program
California Manufacturers Advantage® (CMA) is a terrific program that’s geared toward small and medium sized manufacturers. This California manufacturing program provides a comprehensive review of your business, with technical expertise and strong leadership skills to spot issues and create meaningful solutions.
Every year, CMA advisors help hundreds of manufacturers around California identify and implement business solutions that remove barriers to growth. This program provides the tools and resources to improve productivity and profitability.
How it Works
The CMA Program has been developed to address the strategic business challenges facing California manufacturing. Your initial commitment is sharing information. To that end, the CMA Advisor will visit your business to meet with company managers to record baseline information to assess your needs. He or she will review key business indicators such as sales, cash flow, productivity, quality systems, information systems, personnel, business strategies, and strategic planning.
The CMA Program provides one of its skilled consultants as a business advisor, who may team with a Growth Coach to give your business leaders one-on-one coaching to help you achieve your business goals. The resources produced at these sessions include referrals to useful business aids; networking opportunities with local manufacturers as potential customers, suppliers, and strategic partners; and information to leverage incentives and funding, when these special programs are available to offset costs for improvement or employee training.
The program is a guided, self-implementation program facilitated by your CMA Advisor and Growth Coach with the goal of giving you valuable assistance and creating a positive financial impact to your business.
Designed for small businesses in the California manufacturing sector, the CMA Program is ready to help you achieve the following:
- Gain a greater understanding of how to deliver value to your prospects and generate new sales;
- Develop a more efficient and cost-effective marketing and sales program to meet your growth forecasts;
