Equipment Appraisal or Valuation

An Expert Equipment Certified Appraiser (EECA) provides a third-party independent assessment and value of Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment, medical equipment, farm equipment, or used heavy machinery as well as any other items that are hard assets and need an appraisal to determine their value.

What is an equipment appraisal?

A machinery equipment appraisal is an independent and unbiased process of determining the supportable opinion of value of tangible assets as of a specific date. Appraisals can be performed for a variety of value premises from Fair Market Value in place and in use, to Forced Liquidation Value.

All machinery appraisals are performed by Andrew under his Expert Equipment Certified Appraiser (EECA) designation with the Institue of Equipment Valuation.

The EECA designation requires all appraisals to be performed in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of The Appraisal Foundation. By Andrew working with and complying with industry standards, it ensures that proven peer-reviewed appraisal methods are used to develop defendable opinions of value.

  1. Desktop Report: A hypothetical determination of value based solely upon information provided by the client and conducted without benefit of a physical inspection.
  2. Summary Appraisal Report: A certified restricted-use summary report of full USPAP-compliant appraisal including physical inspection of items appraised.

Formal process

Providing you with a Certified Equipment Appraisal is a formal process. That is, it includes a written Engagement Agreement for the appraisal including the type of valuation method(s) and Scope Of Work.
